MIGNON CLYBURN Federal Communications Commission Commissioner: August 2009 - June 2018 Acting Chairwoman: May 2013 - November 2013 The ART FM Radio Pioneer Award recognizes individuals who transcend and defy traditional ideas for radio to create new oportunities in broadcasting. Through her work on behalf of community radio, LPFM, and net neutrality, this year's recipient has a distinguished history of pioneering oportunities in media for diverse - and often unheard - populations at the hightest national level.
