WXOX @ Folklife 2025 Di'Orr Greenwood  Di'Orr Greenwood Artist / Skateboarder / Designer Fort Defiance, AZ Interviewed by Max Cash WXOX Next Wave Academy 2025 Smithsonian Folklife Festival Youth & the Future of Culture July 7, 2025 Diné multidisciplinary artist Di'Orr Greenwood uses pyrography (wood burning), paints, and even precious stones like turquoise to create moving designs inspired by her Indigenous heritage and Navajo Nation homelands and people. She also creates cedar flutes and wearable art and has collaborated with major partners from the U.S. Postal Service to Nike. Alongside her skating and creative work, Greenwood serves as a community leader and advocate for Indigenous issues.
